Waffle Morning Update

Lukas and I got gussied up, and went to Time Square a few days ago

We saw Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings. 

And danced!

I drank vodka with pineapple juice. it felt tropical!

I also put together a mix of the songs that i am enjoying, this month. 

If you read this, I'll make you this mix in exchange for a high five!

Its good. Like an extended MTV documentary without the mini clips of garageband music, and Clearasil commercials. 

It has been a day of couch forting, because my immunities are shit. 

I blame being ill, on social networking!

Myspace threw a secret show for Lily Allen, and I was sent out to take photos of it. 

The place was packed and just oozing with dork bacteria. 

At one point, someone went crowd surfing onto my hazy head. 

This is all i saw, when i looked behind me.

Couch life is good. Full of tea!

This is my first post to unituesdays.

Tuesday Nights podcast was put on hold due to Chloe having a giant photo
job at the bowery ballroom photographing Ms Lily Allen (see the photos on the blender blog at blender.com)

I attended the show that night as well as a makeshift photo assistant (aka-bag holder) and stayed up as moral support for the editing til 4 something am.

The next day the sickness/lack of sleep had taken her. Her nose was filled with peanut butter like phlegm and she took the space egg (uni tuesdays official vehicle.) to work.

After work she picked me up from my job and we made our way home. The sniffles and mild hacking coming from her side of the car was cute and sad. I must say I feel partly/totally responsible because I was the first one of us to get sick and I am STILL sick so I am pretty sure I gave it to her. Well that and the late nights and early mornings and lack of nutrition (TAKE YOUR VITAMINS CHLOE).

We decided that we didnt have it in either of us to record, and instead built a couch fort and ordered japanese food and watched the secret life of bees.

My Feeling on this movie is that it was shitty, but We will elaborate on that during our next podcast.

Needless to say the night ended in Chloe questioning if jesus hates her because the curtain fell off the window at exactly 9 am due to the FEROCIOUS wind we are having here in NY.

Returning to the couch fort chloe set herself up with an elijah wood movie, 2 Huge bottles of smart water, an apple juice, dayquil,nyquil,advil, emergen-c, web the dog, a furry blanket, a waffle, and a cup of hot lemon and honey tea.

I drove off to work and am sitting here sniffling and hacking and wishing I was on that couch fort more than anything.

Lukas and I live in the same apartment in Brooklyn, NY. 

Typically (especially due to the winter weather) we can be found on our couch playing music, drinking caffeinated beverages, petting our computers...well, when I look up, this is usually what I see:

Although currently I am watching Robert Plant and Alison Krauss win a Grammy...amazing album, Yes. 

But 'album of the year'? Nah. Its already used on a commercial. Ruined. 

Radiohead won in my mind. Especially after the fucking performance, tonight. 

And Lukas has just saved our first podcast. 

Thats right, technology. We're up to date with you!
